There are different debt solutions available for different people dependant on individual circumstances. If for example, a Debt Management Plan or DMP is the solution this will help put all your debts into one payment plan which DEBTPLAN Direct will arrange and manage for you, contacting your creditors and negotiating to either freeze or reduce interest & charges on each of the debts.
Or if an Individual Voluntary Arrangement or IVA is more suitable. This is a legally binding contract between you and your creditors agreed through the courts for your creditors to usually accept a lower monthly repayment over a set timescale, typically five years.
Our advisers are also trained on other debt solutions such as Bankruptcy Advice or the Debt Relief Order or DRO if this is the best solution.
