   Beating Debt Stress

Unbelievably but true is the fact that exercising for just 3 hours per week can reduce depression by up to 47%; this is the same result as taking anti-depressant medicine as given by a doctor!

Being pampered is a good way to relax and nurture you and to boost your self esteem especially if you are feeling low or stressed out.  And it’s not limited to women, either – even David Beckham is said to enjoy a facial treatment or two!

The Natural Way to Relax
  • Try having a hot bath with some Epsom salts – these are a lot cheaper than buying brand named shop bath salts. They will remove any toxins and relax those tension knotted muscles.
  • A good wake up call in the morning is achieved by using a natural-bristle body brush. This will exfoliate the skin by working the strokes in an upward sweeping fashion.
  • Have you ever tried to refresh your tired eyes by putting slices of cucumber you’re your eyes for ten minutes- it does wonders!
  • Ask your partner or a friend to give you a head massage.  Using the balls of your fingers, massage gently in circular movements.
  • Oats aren’t just good to eat – you can use them in for a skin treat, too.  Blend a cup of any type of oats in a blender or food processor until they resemble a fine powder.  Then add them to your bath water for a moisturising, skin-softening and luxurious bath.  Don’t put un-blended oats straight in the bath – or you could end up bathing in lumpy porridge!  Oats also make a great face mask.
  • After a long day, soaking your feet in warm water is incredibly relaxing!  Adding lavender oil is soothing, while a cooler soak with peppermint oil is great for reviving tired and aching feet.  If you can get someone to give you a foot rub, so much the better – but it’s something you can do for yourself, too.
